Fresh summer snow? Of course! Many regions of Switzerland are located at high altitude. Snow in summer is a common event there. In most cases, the virgin snow is gone within a few days, but this should be enough time for the photographer to capture the pure beauty of a new snow blanket over green meadows.
This image features the Macun National Park, a lake plateau at approx. 2’600m asl. 23 lakes can be found there. The protected area is situated in the Canton of Graubuenden, a nice hike leads through it. More info here: nationalpark.ch
