Las de Bious-Artigues
This is an outstanding mountain walk around the seven Ayous Lakes at the head of the Ossau Valley, visiting the Refuge d'Ayous. The views of the Pic du Midi d'Ossau and the surrounding area are simply wonderful. Wildlife abounds with deer, marmots and spectacular displays of birds including eagles, griffon vultures and lammergeyer. It is one of the best walks I have ever done.
