Parque Natural del Cañón del Río Lobos
Canyon of the Lobos River Canyon Rio Lobos Natural Park, located in the province of Soria and Burgos, is considered one of the most beautiful landscapes of Spain by the spectacular landscape, a unique space on the axis of a deep canyon of steep cliffs. Inside are extensive forests of juniper and black pine, besides its rich fauna, highlighting pairs of griffon vultures, being important reserve of this species, golden eagles, owls and hawks. Among the mammals are roe deer, wild boar, squirrels, otters, badgers and wild cats. A place to make a beautiful walking tour that leads us from landscapes to the chapel of St. Bartholomew, one of the most important ones and surprising in its environment- Order of the Knights Templar enclaves, from which we can contemplate this canyon in all its splendor; accompanied on the road by the river Lobos, with floating water lilies, waters that appear and disappear intriguing the traveler.
